Walking the Talk Academy
Walking the Talk offers a series of training modules to help build internal
competence so that your people can build, influence, or lead sustainable
culture management initiatives.
Academy Foundation
The Academy Foundation module is designed for anyone involved in culture management.
During this one-day module, participants will be introduced to the concept of culture,
Walking the Talk models, and methodology for building culture in organisations. At the end
of this module, participants will understand the stages in a culture management process
and be able to articulate a clear strategic imperative for culture change.
Academy Build
The Build module is designed for HR teams or individuals who will be involved in leading
and developing a culture business plan and culture champions across the company.
This two-day module will focus on operating a systematic culture management process.
At the end of this module, participants will be able to complete the business case for
culture change and be able to present it to senior executives. They will also be capable
of starting the process of writing a culture business plan.
Academy Influence
This two-day course is designed for culture champions, HR teams, and others who will be
the “conscience” of the culture with the skills to influence behaviour in teams. Participants
will learn practical, day-to-day skills needed to impact others at the ‘BE’ level in order
to reach a tipping point in the culture change journey.
Academy Lead
Managers, high-potential leaders, and executives in highly visible roles can benefit from
this two-day course in understanding their personal roles in leading culture. They will identify
the links between their behaviour and strategies they want to implement. At the end of this
module, participants will have explored their own attitudes, feelings, values, and behaviour
and will have learned how to use these in role modeling the desired culture.
Academy Merge
This two-day module is designed for those involved in situations where two cultures are coming
together, such as mergers between companies or business units, acquisitions, outsourcing,
and joint ventures. Participants will understand the cultural impact of the merger what can
realistically be done to ensure that asset value is not diluted because of cultural issues.
